How are these speakers optimized for Sonos Amp?
Sonos Amp can detect when Sonos Architectural speakers are connected and optimize the sound accordingly. Amp also enables Trueplay capability, which fine-tunes the speakers based on their surroundings.
What type of wire should be used to connect the speakers to Amp?
You should use 16ga or larger wire that is rated for use within walls and ceilings.
Can these speakers be installed outdoors?
These speakers are not rated for outdoor use and should only be installed indoors.
Can I use an aux cable with Sonos Ace?
Yes. Connect to your preferred analogue sources using the included USB-C to 3.5 mm cable. The included USB-C to USB-C cable can also be used for a wired connection.
Where should I install these speakers?
If you are using these speakers as part of your home theater setup, they should be installed a few inches away from the left and right edges of your TV, with the tweeter as close to ear level from the seating position as possible. If you are using these speakers as distributed audio speakers, they should be placed in a location that provides the best coverage for the room.
Will these replace my existing in-wall speakers?
If your cutout is the same dimension as that of the speaker (6.93" x 10.75"), it will fit and may require a small amount of drywall be removed. If the cutout is larger, drywall will be required to patch and recut a hole to fit.
